Another classic the way it was meant to be heard!! I don't know what they were thinking when they mixed this song for stereo back in 1969. The stereo mix pushes Jack Ashford's tambourine too far up front in the mix, and the drums almost non-existent. On the mono mix everything is in it's proper proportion and place so this song pops from the first bar! Thank you, Slayd for this excellent post. :)
