This is the title track from their classic third album, I Feel A Song. It's also the opening track and it just sets the tone for the entire LP.

No en vano, las perlas de la Motown, los rare grooves y cualquier tema de la franja de 1960-80 forman parte de la biblioteca musical de la electrónica gala. Solo un año después, aún fresca la apropiación musical de Cassius, Kanye West y Jay-Z tomaron un sample de I <3 U So para su colaboración musical conjunta Watch the throne (un título perfecto para un drama isabelino). Why I love You era, en esencia, el sample de un sample, la huella digital que unía el alegre R&B de Gladys Knight con el egotismo hedonista de West y Jay-Z. Lo curioso, al fin y al cabo, es que ambos pasaron por alto ese detalle para quedarse con la revisión de Cassius. Quizá por eso Why I love You refleja tan descaradamente el carácter tan posmoderno del disco, ese que echa por tierra cualquier origen para recordarnos que, ante todo, el que habla es el presente.
