Gin Blossoms perform "Hold Me Down" live at the Farm Aid concert in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 18, 1994. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

I've seen them 7 times and never heard anyone acknowledge Doug Hopkins. Sad. Black eye on Robin mostly.

He's actually signalling the control room to turn up his mic, lol. He pointed to his ear then up saying "I can't hear myself, turn it up". Doug hopkins was a brilliant song writer.

a nice touch at the 1:11 mark as Robin points upwards as a tribute to Doug Hopkins after the lyrics: "Anyway it looks like no one heard me, so here I go"
