I saw Gin Blossoms in Omaha in October of 1992 opening for Toad the Wet Sprocket. They sucked! They were out of tune. As I was leaving home to go back to school after Thanksgiving break, I heard 6 of the songs off of New Miserable Experience, and as soon as I could the next day I picked it up.

Yeah- these guys are amazing live. I really hope they don't disband again. Their last album "Major Lodge Victory" was killer, and I have high hopes for "No Chocolate Cake" coming out in a few weeks. Here's hoping they keep making good music.

I was very disliked myself in high school because I loved listening to the Gin Blossoms. People definately had no clue what they were missing by only listening to the tracks on the radio.

i remember buy the cassette tape for album and everyone giving me strange looks when i pulled into the high school parking lot... I was like in gin blossoms... Theyonly listened to hey jealousy and radio hits... They missed out on a great album
