Don`t get too excited - this isn`t a new song from Gilbert`s forthcoming album `Gilbertville ` - it`s the title given to this piece of music on the 3 cd Box Set CARICATURE released a few years ago . It`s actually an unfinished song with nonesense lyrics that was released to demonstrate how Gilbert often works trying to fit words to melodies . He sounds as if he`s singing anything that comes into his head as he develops the tune on the piano . This has never been issued as a finished song - so we don`t know what the final lyrics or title would have been . It`s still a facinating insight into Gilbert at work in his studio . This is a request from a friend of mine - the fine Scottish actor Bryan Lowe who loves this song !
