There wasn't 15 of us in a 3 bedroom apartment, there was 5 of us in a 2 bedroom apartment. My single Mama worked 3 jobs. Older sis was 9 years old cooking dinner for the other 3 of us. The local church sponsored my family for Christmas one year. We were flat broke but we never wavered. We always had each other. We pushed one another. All four of us graduated from high school. Three of us from college. This song reminds me of those tough times. Lots of tears. "All that I got is you"... that's family. To this day our bond is stronger than any other family I've met. This song hits home and reminds me where I came from and how important my family is to me.
