Being an old hippie (now that's an oxymoron), I had a vision of what it would be like to have lights in my banjo that I could engage in the middle of a song. My son knows a lot about electricity, and how to use it. I had the concept, he had the design. He presented me with the product for Father's Day, 2008. I connected the string of of over 40 LEDs to a 4 cell AA battery pack, and a switch located at the heel of the neck. I needed something to liven up my drab playing (kidding).
