That's the beauty of the song. Some may have a positive result, being with the loved one, and others may took the sad road of saying goodbye. I've chosen the sad ending, I'm in the process of starting a new life somewhere else, leaving my past behind, but learned the lesson well. Do I feel better? Of course not, but time fixes everything... Dammit, I love this song since 2006, I just never knew it would be so meaningful to me someday.

Although James was piss drunk and high at every show when he released this album, it's by far his most heartfelt. The guy was betrayed by his wife and lost everything. I'm more than glad he's clean now and seeing him perform these songs now that he has gotten past all of that is amazing.
