It wasn't a superfluous din. It was good not for any political rhetoric. But it was cow shit for the worms to come.

That chant should've gone on for at least 10 minutes. Beautiful.

What an incredible day this was..I was about 30 feet from the stage..I remember Jackson Browne saying " Don't drink the water! Do not drink the water! " Yeah...it was laced with LSD...

Thank you Jesse Colin Young, and all 250,000 people in this video. I'd like many times more that to see this video now and be reminded of the power we have when we all come together.

Schade, dass es so ein 1989, 1999 und 2009 nicht mehr gegeben hat, denn die Gefahr ist keineswegs gebannt und droht jetzt nur in andere Hände zu geraten

What makes this a "protest song," particularly as it relates to the serious search for clean energy sources? Most of these rallys, including the anti-Vietnam war protests, degenerated into just another way for college students to get laid. Should we label this particular 1979 rally "Pro-Black Lung Disease?" Thirty years later, windmills and solar panels just can't do the job. Do we need more mining accidents? JCYoung didn't even write that song!
