Mario Fargetta is one of the most popular dj of the most important Italian radio: Radio Deejay, but hes also the man behind the pseudonym of Get Far, the name he chose to release his club oriented projects (that is quite the exact anagram of his surname Fargetta) to underline the different sound of these European club oriented tunes from his classical radio songs.

He started his professional career when he was just 16, but he became very famous at the end of the 80s when he got his first sampler and started to create new mixes and sounds.That day the Deejay Time Radioshow was born.

Then Fargetta is the producer of some of the most successful dance hits of the golden Italian dance era, such as The music is movin, Music, Your love and I Will Rise Again and hes also one of the producer of Tamperer feat. Maya Feel It, a successful dance project which reached the n. 1 in the UK Sales Chart and n.3 with the follow up.

Mario Fargetta aka Get Far is a well known remixer. Blur Girls & Boys, Lucio Dalla, Jovanotti, Laura Pausini, Gigi DAlessio, Raf, Gianna Nannini, Biagio Antonacci asked to him for the dance version of their latest songs.

Mario Fargetta is the mind behind the cool club hit Get Far Shining Star, originally released at the end of 2005, with the vocal contribution of the famous singer Sagi Rei.

Shining Star was licensed worldwide in few months and it became an anthem in the European radios and charts: from the Italian club scene and sales chart (in the I-Tunes top10 for many months) to the European radio shows, the single was played by Pete Tong and Judge Jules, on BBC Radio 1 ! During those months the single was enriched by a huge and cool remix package (released by Gianluca Motta, Pornocult...) and finally, in spring 2007, the new master was released again on cd,... the track was ready to become one of the hottest and most requested anthem in the A&R and djs world!

Shining Star was in the most important European playlists and always packed in all the superstars djs flycases and it reached the top of the radios charts in France (n.1 in Music Control for several weeks), Belgium, Spain, Holland ... and you can watch to many different videoclip versions in each country, due to the musical tv channels and fans pressure.

From the radios charts the single arrived directly to the sales charts and it stayed for more than two months in the official Billboard singles chart.

Mario Fargetta has played his dj set in many different clubs and festivals during his long experience in touring around the world, he recently played at Technoparade.

The follow up of Shining Star is All I Need and it features the Sagi Rei vocal contribution again. Hi latest single is Positive Vibes and now hes working on an album.

Mario received many awards for his contribution to music world and for his long career as dj, awards such as the Leone dArgento, Premio Saint Vincent and recently the Premio Grolle.

Mario Fargetta is on air on Radio Deejay every weekend with three shows: the Deejay Time, Dance Revolution and Dj Night.
