This is from Artis Wodehouse's "Gershwin Plays Gershwin: The Piano Rolls". She meticulously restored some old piano rolls and rigged them to a concert piano and recorded them. It's been said that she employed some artistic license in the performance as even a player piano had some expression controls. It's George Gershwin playing with Artis helping.

Does not sound like Gershwin playing. (Not saying that it isn't, just that it doesn't sound like his style). George usually did not heavily use the sustaining pedal. And this recording sounds like the SP is moderate-to-heavily used. George also played in a brisk staccato style, even with his slower-tempo songs. Just doesn't sound like Gershwin's style of playing.

The Aeolian Duo Art Piano Rolls !!! I remember an early incarnation of this on an Everest Long Play record. But this on cd cames from a digital piano with data encoded accurately from the piano rolls.

sorry for my delay in responding. it is one of the pieces contained in a CD were Gershwin play some of his composition. I bought it in Ricordi store in centre of Milan a few years ago. I'm not able to give to you any other details . thanks
