Splendid cover of the ol' Lennon song. Used to have this album (Over My Head) but i mislaid it long ago.....drat! Think it's hard to find now (at a reasonable price). Gerry also did a great cover of The Beatles Because on his final release Life Goes On.......not an easy track to do.11 years ago

I didn't count any "light years" between John Lennon's "Out The Blue" and Gerry Rafferty's cover. Both are great songs of two of the biggest musicians in 20th century. You won't make Rafferty bigger by depreciating Lennon.11 years ago
