Listen u idiots ...do you want him to play Randys exact solo or would you like him to play it with respect and play what his own take is with his own style...you guys would bash either way but I bet he could play Randys version if he wanted...haven't you ever heard bands re do songs and change vocal arrangements etc.Give em his credit

Playing music is like painting with sound. Like every painter is different every player should be different otherwise you have no artistic identity. George Lynch is a brilliant player with a unique distinct sound. He is probably one of the very few that could pull this off without butchering the original song and leave you thinking wether or not you like his version better.

Ok, Look. GL was probably handed this project on short notice and he went in and improvised it. He is not one for even playing his own stuff note for note. Personally, I love what he did with it and this coming from a huge RR fan. People take this shit too seriously lol.

LOL. Sorry Mr. Lynch. Rhoads' leads are waaaay too too too classic for your "Dokken" licks. This song is WELL KNOWN for the way the leads were composed and written. George's lead just ruined it. Don't get me wrong, I was a huge fan of George Lynch in the Dokken days growing up and was heavily influences by his genius playing. In many ways, he had inspired me a lot in my guitar development stages. but, this song can't take punishment like this.

If you know anything about George you knew going in to this he wasn't going to play it for note for note (or even in the same ballpark). He is the antithesis of Randy in many ways---relying more on instinct than study. They are both great, great players.

George has his own style and his own way of doing things. Which is probably why he wouldnt have fit well playing with Ozzy. This is a cool version of the song and I'm sure Randy would have approved.
