George Jones was certainly one of the best country singers, and his "White lightning" is absolutely top. I like this song best.

for anyone to suggest George Jones would lip sync is absolutely ridiculous, not to mention that almost NOBODY ever lip synched until recent times,,when 'music' went straight to hell. George was and always be one of ,if not the best singers of any genre of music,, he has no superiors and few equals. Waylon Jennings once said "George Jones is what we all wish we could sing like".

Capt. Dave Sipler, George Jones did NOT lip sync his songs. The idea of lip syncing did not come out until the mid 80's. Most of his songs were made in the 50's thru the late 70's. And as far as Hee Haw went, half the country music singers of today grew up watching that show, and that's what gave them the inspiration to go for their dreams. George was a great singer, and will be long missed by many. RIP.
