I love this song. But today so many politically correct a holes would find this offensive. I wish I grew up in George's hay day. I was born in the wrong Decade. I'm an old soul, 24 years old and listening only to country music from 1950 to 1975 only.

I have followed Jones through most of his career, even met the man a bunch of times, and I really thought I had heard most of his songs, even a lot of the rare stuff nobody ever heard of, but this is one I never heard!!! It gave me laugh, things were sure different then, today this song would be banned!

This song 'Poor Chinee' was originally written long before 1914 - my grandfather (b.1899) use to sing it, he learnt it when he was in his early teens . . from a traveling showman who use to sing this song . . somehow it was credited to Dallas Frazier (b. 1939) sometime after 1960 or there abouts . . . overall it is a classic.
