Well my x finally passed away from boozing all his life and we use to play this song allot and sing it together. Between all 9 of us x's we have 8 children from him and he never really had a relationship with any of these beautiful wonderful kids. What a waist.

A jewelbox of a song...so short, yet so concise, and emotionally draining. Such raw, powerful beauty.

There are some songs that cannot be covered with any success. This is one of those songs and the artists with musical wisdom will not venture into a certain mediocrity and sub-par performance.

My dad never got over the divorce from my mom. He loved this song, but I never paid much attention to it's meaning until he passed away in 1997. All of a sudden it made perfect sense to me. Love each other all you can because you never know when your day will arrive.
