As much as I think it is ridiculous for seemingly attempting to recreate While My Guitar, this is actually quite a good tune, and I think the best on am otherwise unimpressive Extra Texture.

It's one of his best actually. If he had cut "The answer's at the end" which is way too long, "A bit more of You" which is an unnecessary filler, and inserted one or two more up-tempo or fruity songs, the album would stand up there with ATMP. I value as highly anyway.

All his co-produced albums hit the mark, whereas when he worked on his own something was missing. It's only natural. Would the Beatles be the same without George Martin? I'm sorry, because he didn't make the best of his great solo potential.

"Good" is too much of an understatement. It's awesome like most of the stuff of the album it comes from. Brilliantly played and sung, a real treat! If only George had someone to co-produce it, Extra Textrue would be recognized as a masterpiece.
