Here is a rare song of George Harrison,

he recorded it during a rehearsal at 1970.

George let Phil Spector hear some songs he had written

arround the „All Things Must Pass Time.

I hope you enjoy :-)

although some of the lyrics, the meter of them, are a little awkward , I can't see how Lennon (and McCartney)could not have seen that this could have been a really beautiful song with a very unique melody, with the smallest of help from either of them. However great they were, there are a few pieces of crap on the White Album, and on Let it Be, ect, not to mention the first solo albums of McCartney and John' s later albums (not his first and last solo albums, of course). McCartney now is trying to say how much he cared for Harrison, a picture of mutual respect but read any bio of the Beatles and you get a different picture, Even Lennon writing about "Taxman" said "Don't tell me I have to help him (Harrison) now--meaning he , Lennon already has McCartney to help.

This is actually a song that George wrote about a woman he was having an affair with at the time. He "feels here near" but acts as if he doesn't care for her "should someone be looking at me". A clandestine relationship. It's historical document, not my conjecture.

In response to Ryan Smith, if he ever returns to this page, I think by, "should someone be looking at me" he is saying, "as if someone were looking at me"- not in a form of a question. I think he's expressing a need for outside validation, distrustful of his own perception of grace, seemingly the theme of each proceeding verse. I should thank you for getting me to think further and further appreciate a great song.

This should be covered by the Foo Fighters, feels like the kind of stuff they would do.

I think he's being careful not to show openly his love for lady should someone be looking at him and discover what I assume is undeclared or hidden love. That's my take anyhow.

I've never understood the lyrics at a certain point in this song. Can anyone help? The line at the end of each verse: "Should someone be looking me?" Anyone?
