Some more special guests in this one. I won't name names but they were bigger than one of the guests in the 'My Sweet Lord' video.

I originally wasn't going to do a video for 'In My Life' but then I found some footage on MySpace of George performing it. It was shot from behind though so it's a bit hard to make out what's going on some of the time.

This is actually the second version of this video. I felt that because there was less effects and camera cuts it wasn't quite as entertaining as the others so I added the 'special guests' which I thought made it a bit more interesting and helped illistrate the song a bit better than just the performance footage on its own.

Once again, the audio is from Fort Worth Texas and the footage is from all over the place...well all over North America anyway. I have no idea where the new footage came from originally but as I have no idea where most of the footage came from that's not a big suprise.

Not sure when the next video will be done or even what song it'll be (I tend to decide that when I open the editing program) but it'll be up here once it's done (I usually upload within 24 hours of rendering).

These recordings from the '74 tour are great to hear. Despite the critical opinion of the time being that they were a disaster, this proves in retrospect that there was a lot of tight, soulful playing going on, and George's vocals were weak but not unpleasant to the ear. Come on Dhani and Olivia - surely there must be a dvd's worth of good quality film around to release one day?!

A fresh perspective on just how damn good the Beatles were, and are, individually, is always a treat .. thank you so kindly for sharing 'touch', NCA

This tour was widely bootlegged in the 70's, particularly this song, and it was reported that his voice was hoarse. I'm thinking that this footage was taken from someone's own personal camera, which is why it is woven in and out of Beatle footage to compensate for audio sync.

@HermanJman: I saw him do this at Madison Square Garden, 1974. It was not intended as a tribute to John, he just included the song in his set. Actually it was a tribute to God ("In my life I love God more").

Could you put this up with just the tour footage? and skip the B&W Beatle footage ! that would be great, it's to distracting. Thanks

Great version! I always thought there was something more to the original that they could have taken it up another level. Not that it isn't great how it is but this live version is awesome! Proves again that George was always the best guitarist.

There is, naturally enough, about John and Paul but John and George is just as interesting... God, divinity, mind games, sent to meetngs, hypnotised over exposed, commercialized, sex and drugs and rock...and roll seems to have them both banjaxed... George's voice is fucked here... Say what you want about his habits but what you're hearing here is a very stressed out man...

That tape was obviously a fake. Paul never died you retard. The liverpool accent of the person that was supposed to be George was so fake it was comical. Not to mention when he says paul died in 66 he talks about the first song with the "new paul" but the song he mentions came out in 64. He talks about the last song that the real paul did and it was one that came out in 1967. The stupid fuck didn't have any facts straight. Paul is alive and well. A 5 year old could have told that accent was fake
