Although he was "extremely nervous" because "his band's not here," I would consider it a large bit of serendipity that he was forced to perform with "one voice, one guitar." Every song in which Oreyma's arrangement is mostly acoustic is a song I call a "favorite" - by a country mile (or ten). He's at his best without the diffusion and distraction of "pop" and "rock" instrumentation. Such a voice! Such a sense of dynamics and expression! The rock and pop stuff just conceals his beauty.
