Such a sad, beautiful song. Disconcerting to see ol' Guido Deiro as the title-image of this video. It seems possible that he would have been in San Francisco during the Long Shore general strike back in '34. Wonder what he thought of it? Personally, I'd much rather hang out with Geoff. Guido's claim to fame nowadays may be that he secretly married Mae West. But he also helped make the piano accordion the standard instrument in the US. That's something. Not much politics there though.
