You won't get more complicated arrangements than this!! Yet it all fits together - like cogs in cogs!

Best band I ever saw live (along with The Magic Band of course). Brilliant musicians and such nice people. Got a back stage at Liverpool Stadium and Pugwash's parents were there too, quite surreal.

This version of Cogs in Cogs simply beats to hell the studio version. Why didn't they recorded it this way on Power & the glory? I need to have it in HD audio.

Having really amazing record quality in albums is one thing, but performing like this with this complexity is another. I love their music!

For those who understand music can have more that a beat. LOL I am sick of young America it is official they have broken me and I don't care if they get it ant more. They think I am a lunatic and I know that are dulled dill wits lets leave it at that. In the mean time I will not subject my self to Lady Ga Ga or miley. LOL

Hello Bobby, I have scrolled far down on this comment section and came across your comment. You posed this 2 years ago.. so hopefully you see this reply :) You should know that there are many bands today that are pushing musical limitations, only problem is they aren't famous and have no radio play. Nowadays you have to really dig to find bands like this. But, you should definitely check out 'Beardfish' and 'Wobbler' Both are modern bands that I think will tickle your fancy!

Dude, I love Gentle Giant, and Battles is great. Look up Don Caballero though. Ian Williams played in Don Cab from 1992 - 2000, before he left and formed Battles. The best years of Don Cab. None of the new shit. Anyway, Don Cab and Gentle Giant are my two prominent influences. You'll see why. Also look up Storm & Stress.

They both have good qualities. I appreciate also people with limited skills, but able to depict meaningful concepts. What I don't like is skilled or not skilled people playing music despite they have nothing to say. To me Gentle Giant and Battles have something to say, just different topics.

I can't believe people like so much, say, Battles. They just never heard about the Giants...
