@stillavantis Gen is like a weird hybrid industrial sounding genre of metal. Black Metal is Christ-raping inferno of hatred. If you want to know what black metal sounds like, listen to Mayhem, Immortal, Marduk, or some band like that. You will notice a distinct difference between Gen, and black metal. I love both. Gen will always have a special place in my heart. Even if their new album is super poppy. Good song.

um.. Genitorturers are nothing near black metal. please do not confuse the two. Black Metal also has nothing to do with burning churches or stabbing people, please don't perpetuate such silly rumors. Blackmetal is simply a different type of music, a-la Darkthrone, Satyricon etc. As someone who loves both Gen. and Blackmetal and a lot of other musical movements i find it a tad annoying when people unjustly misrepresent any of them.

I feel it's important to make a distinction. It would be irresponsible to send ignorants to "the wolves"... especially wolves that honestly kill people (A la Birzum). At it's most lighthearted... It'd be the same as me comparing Blink 182 to Dead Kennedy's, or Green Day as "underground". Doing so insults the movements that (for better or worse) have worked damn hard to maintain the "bubble's" integrity.
