I was a huge Renegade Soundwave fan around 1989 (I discovered them through a name drop on Pop Will Eat Itself's "Can U Dig It?" track) and didn't realize it was a cover. The huge difference reminds me of Queen's "Get Down Make Love" with the Nine Inch Nails version. There is love for all interpretations.
