Hablemos claro, si Genesis siguió adelante gracias a Collins, Banks, Rutherford y Hackett. Gabriel se hizo del rogar hasta ahora ya basta¡¡¡

I would happily buy an album made up of all the B sides that didn't quite make the cut. Someone make it happen!

Sorry, TSL's UK pressing had three extra live tracks on Side Four.

That's essentially what Bsides are, throwaways, and sometimes they end up being better than the album tracks. As for Three Sides Live, the UK copies of that had three live tracks and were the only nationality of pressing to do so at its time of release. I don't know if that's changed though.

This song should've been on Duke instead of Alone Tonight.Just as much Evidence of Autumn should've been on Duke instead of Misunderstanding. The thing is I think the members of Genesis knew this all to well. But they wanted something different, like they continued to do on Abacab even more. Now there's nothing against trying something different, but could'nt they've waited one more album...?Duke would've been so much better, complete in sound. While it's already a very good album.I guess we will never know.

This such a beautiful song, and like Vancouver, has some of the original magic of the very early Genesis songs. The chords before the middle eights(?), are so reminiscent of the Banks/Hackett style. Dear old Phil Collins, his live acts were all so well presented and exciting!

This is a fantastic song. I think it is as good as any track on Duke. I can only think it was not included, as it is similar to 'Alone Tonight'. The album is also very ballad heavy (a good thing!!) However, I think it is superior to 'please don't ask'.

I agree it's better than some of the songs on the album, but it's very simple arrangement doesn't really fit in with the rest. But I like this one a lot, too.

Dance on Evidence of Autumn ! Wow, what an odd wya of celebrating Genesis music. I would normally turn the ligt off, lay back and fly away to the sound of the melody and out of this world lyrics ! Oh well... why not !!

It's ok. That way, the songs don't get over-damaged@ by radios and end up living long.

so true... Despite being one of the best prog band in the world, Genesis always had a not-always-accepetd-by-all talent of uplifting our souls with beauty in their music... Very few bands managed to do this over such a long period. Plus, their songs are gems that new generations discover years after.

THEY may have felt that some of these songs were mere "throwaways", but too many fans - me among them - felt that the fourth side of THREE SIDES LIVE contained what was some of their best work. I hear this now, and I feel like you could drop this right into GAME OF THRONES as part of the soundtrack, and it wouldn't sound at all out of place...

Definitely a terrific song. Phil, Mike and Tony were equally good at putting emotion into their songs. Mike - Open Door, Tony - Afterglow, Phil - Please Don't Ask....and there are so many more.
