I think it is important to remember that both Tony and Mike have admitted American musicians are just better at what they do. Daryl is an incredible guitarist and Chester is an equally amazing drummer. That is not a put down to Tony, Mike, Phil or Steve. They are all incredibly talented: Phil in particular is a very versatile a natural musician. Mike is a super bass player and what it comes to keyboards, Tony is pretty hard to beat. Steve Hackett is a reserved and atmospheric guitarist whose style suited Genesis in the 70s perfectly. They are all the finest at what they do, and this 2007 performance is a culmination of that. I only wish they would record another album or two so the social media/Internet generation could get a taste of what these veterans are still quite capable of creating. They still have a few tricks up their sleeve: once Phil realizes this and that is all it will take for him to become relevant again, we will be good.

And they said that Genesis didn't "sweat" as much as some groups! This song shows they really did know how to end an album and they also did a little sweating.

It kills me to see Phil in so much pain here.

most of this audience seem to be utterly blown away probably expecting misunderstanding. Glad they played this, May as well close the HoF doors now that they are finally in there.

Great sound ! I suppose the guitar player didn't want to be influenced by listening to the original guitarist version.too bad.

Daryl Stermer did a phenomenal job taking over Steve Hacketts' classic guitar parts. I think if Hackett never left the band however, Genesis' song writing and music in general would have reached an even higher level. Mike Rutherford is not a good lead player he is an insanely talented bass player. Watch some of the footage from Three Sides Live when they play the Cinema Show medley. He plays bass like a rhythm guitar player. Unbelievable!

We saw Genesis in Orlando in 1984. Phil and Chester Thompson side by side rockin the drums. Still one of the best shows ever.

I think their 2007 is their best tour musically. I don't know if it's improved sound systems or what, but there is a richness to the music.
