I love it. BI is f*ckin hot and a great musician even as a solo artist. That's why he is still selling out concerts at age 59. Brilliant!

This is the type of songs billy should be doing.Saw him on jimmy kimmel today. Why a club dance song?

Not exactly "punk" relative to punk rock at the time. More like new wave or heavy "Mony Mony".

Ooops! "1963 - The TV program "Ready, Set!, Go!" premiered on the BBC in London, England." The program was "Ready Steady Go!" and was broadcast by ITV / Rediffusion TV. The original intro song was "Wipeout" by Surfaris, which would be replaced by Manfred Mann's "5-4-3-2-1".This is a parody recorded in 1978.#dapimusic #mymusichangout #punkrock #generationx #readysteadygo #onthisday #onthisdate #fns #fridaynightsessions

Ready steady go was not their first single, it was their 3rd single. "Your Generation" was their first and "Wild Youth" was their second.

Believe it or not Billy Idol states in one of his interviews on the 30th Nov. 1977 that he likes John Lennon's music and he is an inspiration to him.
