Artist Biography: Generation on Dope rise from the ashes of the hard rock band Razzle Dazzle, formed in 2002 and made up of Simone Zuccarini (vocals), Alessandro Zuccarini (guitars), Mario Gilardengo (bass) and Luca Terlizzi (drums). The band performs hundreds of live concerts all over Italy, publishing two EPs, "What The Hell" and "Rzd inc". The latter is mastered at Sterling Sound Studios (Guns'n'Roses, AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne) in New York City. In 2006, the sudden death of bass player Mario Gilardengo marks the end of Razzle Dazzle and the birth of Generation on Dope, when Simone, Alessandro and Luca decide to soldier on down a joint musical path. Bass player Riccardo "The Joey" Crespi joins the project, which is characterized by a hard rock/modern metal sound and a strong live attitude.

In 2009 the band gives birth to their first album "Generation.on.Dope", produced by Andrea De Bernardi at Greensound Studios and released by Bagana Records/Edel. During the following two years the band's promotional activity is focused on live concerts, spanning stages all over Italy and extending abroad. This period is crowned by opening performances alongside international acts like Sonic Syndicate (Milan) and Papa Roach (Warsaw, Poland). Cruising forth with their live activity, the fall of 2011 sees the band begin creation on a follow-up to the album "Generation.on.Dope". Recordings begin in January 2012.

In the summer of 2012 the band enters into partnership with british Futurebeat Music Ltd. for the release of the new album "Ghosts", licensed worldwide in november. The album, produced by Simone Zuccarini and recorded by Guido Domingo at Octave Music Studio, marks a big stylistic step forward: G.o.D's heterogeneous sound attains hardcore-like peaks of aggression, coupled by dramatic interludes never before experimented by the band while still threading a lyrical concept throughout the tracks, which include a cover of "Burn" by The Cure. The title-track's videoclip anticipates the release of the album, showcasing the musical evolution of the band.
