Revival thrash being the wave of new bands trying to recreate 80's thrash (think warbringer), but there's still a lot of modern influences incorporated too and its fairly easy to tell. I think this band probably falls into that last category but really, genres are just labels and I think people get waaaay to caught up in them sometimes. what the music sounds like is more important than what you call it.10 years ago

to me there's like 3 erras of thrash, and while you can see the common thread between them they're really almost separate genres. There's old school 80's thrash (my personal favorite) then you have the Pantera and Machine head, and that whole wave of "Modern" thrash (groove metal sort of splintered off from this I think, when they started incorporating more influences from metallic hardcore and little bits and pieces from other genres) and then there's what I call "revival thrash",10 years ago
