I think the beauty of Country Music is such a simple one...just like the rhythmical songs themselves.....it is the basic human need of just wanting to be loved...whether we like to admit that or not!! Practically every Country song is themed on all apects of emotion,whether that be romantic love or family..even love of nature and our surroundings. The tempo might be upbeat on many; great hoe-down beats to loads of others...but by far and away,the focus of them all is on the state of the heart,happiness and hurt...love and pain...no matter the source,romantically or otherwise. All the lyrics carry a story and there are so,so many wonderful singers of this genre. Gene Watson is new in my life and I'm finding him to be absolutely wonderful and a discovered gem (through Mark..(ramey58) )..but that in no way diminishes every other superb "CountryMan....HighwayMan/Woman"...I've ever yet heard! To listen to any one song,be it male of female,from the Country set means to be hearing a song with meaning. So,if a certain mood strikes because of depth of feeling......try a Country song;you will find one to suit your state of mind appropriately within seconds on YT!!
