I'd never heard Gene's rendition of this song. I'm fond of the song, which I first heard on a Lettermen album (LP) I bought when I was high school. The album was, "You'll Never Walk Alone" (1965).

Tell me L.J because I`m not sure.I don`t believe Gene ever recorded "Blue Gene" in italian.I think it`s a common mistake people think he did since the english version appeared on the CD "Gene Italieno" as a bonus track, but of course I may be mistaken???
