This is a good version but dosen't really show Gene's extreme octave range.not close to his potential.I've heard so many versions but Ronnie Dove owns this tune.

Thank you for sharing this nice song. This is the best version of "I really don't want to know". He has a little cry in his voice without coming across as a limp soggy rag. I haven't been able to purchase this song anywhere I looked: Amazon, Rhapsody... The only way to get it is to buy the whole George Jones/Gene Pitney album, and I am reluctant to spend 24 bucks for it. If you want to say that I am cheap, slap yourself in the wrist right now.

Im 41 years old, not really old enough to know the 60s, but it is what i grew up hearing, from my mother and my Auntie Jean (miss u lots) so i love 60s music and Gene has one of those voices that makes u listen. great song.:)
