RIP Gene Clark. Beautiful Album, Beautiful Song with beautiful imagery. Gene was heavily influenced by Carlos Castenada and his own native ancestry during the making of this album. This song always stuck out to me with its vibe, its theme and its beauty. Gene was a talented man with a huge monkey on his back that took him and a lot of others to the grave. RIP to Jesse Ed Davis who played on this tracks (and also produced Gene Clark's White Light) who also was Native American and who also had substance abuse issues. Peace and thanks for the music.

KerryGrl says it. A very underrated artist with a perfect voice. Gene Clark wrote the most beautiful songs of my life. When I met Gene, I told him I had a couple of albums with me and he asked if I brought a pen. He signed two LP covers for me. I really liked the man.

This artist was fantastic! There was no one like him. I'm lucky to have been best friends with him and able to have worked producing and singing with him. I miss my buddy.

Twenty years gone...You are missed but not forgotten.

@hollies65 perhaps, but Chris Hillman's tremendous work over decades and genres is incredible in it's own right.

I think Gene's 'No Other' is possibly the finest album ever made. And, I have loved it since way back in the day. I never ever saw this clip, and I have worked in TV archives all my life. What a find! Well done to the person who posted this! A truly fine performance from 1974, I suspect! Don Kirshner's In Concert?

@sotool76 No Other is probably the best album I have ever heard. I purchased it in 1975.
