Clark & Mcguinn briefly played as a mostly acoustic duo around this time and this here version of Dylan's song was captured live in New York' Bottom Line if my source is correct. R.I.P Gene Clark and if Mcguinn sees this, Mcguinn you are one of my favorite musicians of all time and I admire you as a person and entertainer. I love old folk songs and if you ever want to get together and help me record some do let me know ;P

Peace.

Great song and by far my favorite version. McGuinn's guitar work is superb, and my God, Gene Clark's voice is straight from Heaven!

Have loved most artists versions of this Dylan song...But this for me is tops.. The McGuinn 12 string coupled with Gene Clarkes soulful voice is just perfect..

the best, the most harmonious: Gene's voice and Roger's Rickenbacker. Whay a pitty, this is history.Greetings from Holland/ Europe.

If only they had been bright enough to be like the beatles, and have multiple lead singers on their albums. Would have given Gene more chances to give his gifted voice to the world.

I caught them together performing at William Paterson College that same year- 1978. Oh to be able to go back and see & hear them again! God Bless you Roger and Rest In Peace Gene!

a hardy 2nd, may you live to be a hundred and be happy every day. McGuinn and Clark were so good together. Hope he performs in the west coast sometime

Genuine talent doesn't need elaborate production or expensive recording studios. God bless you, Gene Clark. And may you live to be a hundred, Roger Mcguinn.

If I live to be a hundred I'll still be sad that Gene Clark is no longer with us.

Wonderful. This is what I love about music - the ability to send a shiver right through me. Gene's rarely sung better.
