It's not really metal imo. Bands like the middle class out of SoCal were doing faster guitars before motorhead. Same with the ramones. Metal was a lot slower until those bands started copying the ramones and the socal bands. Even gbh copied them.

I bought this album at the swapmeet when I was in high school. Blasted it day & night. Finally saw them play at a club in Tijuana. What an awesome band. Limpwristed is my favorite song...why not on iTunes?

Does anyone recognize all the people on the album art? I recognize Charles Manson and Ian Brady and Myra Hendly and that's it.

Agreed - best GBH album and one of the best punk albums of all time. This one does seem to get slagged by the purists but for me this is where everything came together and they were finally able to capture the insane energy of their live shows on vinyl. If you like this track I highly recommend listening to the whole album. Not a weak song on there - all 12 tracks combine to create a total sonic assault that few other punk bands have ever matched (thinking Misfits or the Ramones).

Best GBH album IMHO. I remember the purist fanzines accusing this album of going too metal. Give me a break (or fire). To me, GBH combined the best elements of punk, hardcore, and metal (especially Motorhead) very similar to their contemporaries such as Discharge and Broken Bones. It was too ahead of its time and to this day, NOTHING sounds like this record. Indeed the world's gone limp wristed.
