So, there were quite a few little things on this record where I had to learn new skills, as it were, and go into new areas, which is always good".

Gary Moore: We got found the Jimmy Witherspoon version of “Evenin’.” It’s such a beautiful song, and quite obscure, so not many people know it. It was much better to do something like that, and much more interesting. This one is a bit spookier and quite melancholy. The lyrics are quite down. B: It has a real Peter Green sound to it. GM) Well, I think that’s the sound of the reverb and everything. It’s a different guitar. It’s a 335 on that track, thru that little Vibroverb again.
