This is so good, I always scroll down to it through a ton of other "Ye Banks and Braes" videos. For me, this is as good as it gets.

Go away kid, since you are under ten years of age your opinion isn't valued. How can you be Scottish and say such a graceful and heart warming national poem is awful. You don't even know your born kid.

Unforgettable. I will remember hearing this forever. I saw the music in a book at home and thought it must be pretty, but I was afraid to listen to anyone attempt it. I am so glad I chose your video, because now I know what the song means. Bless you -- MK

Rabindranath Tagore adapted this song. With the melody varying for the second line, but a translation from the Bengali adds a stanza to Burns: Flowers swaying in the breeze, or are they softly sending it by? Rivers rise up in waves and in a flood go rushing by. Cuckoos in the flowering branches: coo-hoo coo-hoo coo-hoo sang, still I know not why I can only sigh, and say alas! alas!

Wonderful! You are true the Burns' spirit, and I appreciate that a lot, because many others aren't.
