He died in a mental institution in Paris! Too bad too, he was a great musician.

@TheBernie2201 Glad you liked it! They recorded two other tunes that day; "Rosetta" and I forget the other one; it's a piano solo by the date leader, Garnet Clark; I've never heard it. Supposedly Clark had some kind of breakdown and disappeared from "the scene." "Rosetta" has some very remarkable playing by Coleman; his playing is often described in comparison to "quicksilver" and I'm sure you can see why. He also recorded with Fats Waller before he went to Europe.
