I hate it when people do a Clash cover and ruin it but you never, quality. I think you should do it without backing though on an acoustic, would like to see that.

Hey Mate, I'm playing thru my Blackstar and I love it! For the money you can't do much better. I think I spent a bit over $500 on the head and matching cab. It's a 5 watt tube amp head with reverb and clean and distorted channels and sounds excellent. Can get quite loud as well. I wanted it for my home studio recording and playing as I can get a sick sound without being too loud. Love my VT50 as well!

The guitar tone is identical well done,top cover. Mick's guitar always sounded a bit fragile and thin which gives it it's integrity and coupled with his melodies is the reason why I love his playing. He plays for the song and not himself always

Thanks again Tim! You're spot on in your description of Jonsey's guitar playing. One of the reasons he's one of my favorites guitarists cause the heart and soul he had and felt he was able to convey so well with his playing and melodies. Kids these days and anyone studying rock guitar are doing themselves a great disservice if they refuse to recognize the brilliance of Jones and the Clash.

You deserve the praise Wyatt, not only for your accurate playing but also for choosing the BEST BAND IN THE WORLD to cover. I love listening to what Jones actually played under the singing and how the melody hangs around the chords. In a lot of the live Clash recordings you can't really hear Joe's rhythm guitar. So you love The Clash too then yes?
