I think this is pretty Black Metal to me, it has a lot in common with the first wave of the genre, which in turn was very Crust and Punk influenced.

Japan has a really cool underground scene if you look past all the Visual Kei crap, not just for Metal, but Punk too, bands like this, Coffins, Melt Banana, S.O.B. and a few others that have escaped my mind at this moment in time.

there are a lot of cool asian black metal or crust bands (i think this is crust, not black metal), but most of them are not so popular, so only a few of them are known outside their home-scene
