Gisele MacKenzie and Dorothy Collins spent a lot of weeks in the late 1950's singing this Gale Storm hit on "Your Hit Parade." After graduating from Hit Parade, Gisele moved from NYC to Cailornia, where she starred on her own TV show and had Gale Storm as a neighbor in Encino.

I don't much care for her singing, but she was a very fun comedian with a beautiful face and a difficult life. A Christian now gone to heaven! I miss her TV show that kept me laughing through my own difficulties.

It's great to see her perform. She definitely had a great voice regardless of what style. I also remember My Little Margie with gale an Charles Farrell as well as Oh Susanna with Gale an ,d Roy Roberts as the captain and Zasu Pitts as Nugie Nugent very fondly.

By trained, he means operatic training. By soprano, he means the highest voice type for women. However, I have doubts about the soprano part. Her voice sounds more mezzo or contralto

I was in love with Gale Storm in the 1950's. I was just about 5 years old at the time. I watched her on My little Margie, and later on Oh Susanna, with Zazu Pitts. But I also remember her records and still enjoy hearing her sing.

Unfortunately, Bill Haley / Elvis / etal ended the beauty of 50s pop music like this fantastic classic by Gale Storm. Will take 50s pop over the rock and roll years any day.
