All night games

Left me rescue trained

I know the way to get out

And get to you

All my weight

Shifts from hip to leg

I know the way to get out and get to you

I don't know where we go from here

But we cannot stay forever

When we're cut to the bone

Are we leaving alone

Yeah, I know we are both strong willed

But we can't resist forever

If we won't take control

Can we only let go

All this way

Just to test my strength?

I know the same way to go

To get to you

Far way to fall

I know how it feels to gall without you

Here, in your arms

I know how it feels to be without you

How it feels to live without you

How it feels to have to let you go

So very deep in a winless war

We've forgot what we're fighting for

Only moments of truce

Just to tend to our wounds

I am braced for a long last night

And a turn of nasty weather

When we're cut to the bone

Can we only let go?

And I could, but I can't lose you

I could but I can't lose you now

FSF definitely kept that trademark random drum fill-music dropout for a second-transition thing they like to do....I love it

i don't think people know the difference between autotune and a reverb effect.

Check out their hardcore band from the early/mid nineties same lineup minus Chris and plug in a screamer. Called strongarm

FSF are veterans. Their musical skills were far above most bands at the time of the moon is down and Chris' lyrics were original and very moving. It has gone down with age of course but the moon is down was a highly underrated album that only got recognition after Dashboard took off. I loved Jason and Chris but the 3rd singer was horrible...music was far above the singing and he was not very creative at all. This band has been through a lot I am surprised they are even back together!

That part that starts at 1:10 always gets me, so beautiful and that takes talent to make a transition like that.

Oh yeah, cus Emarosa, From First To Last, TDWP, Of Mice & Men, In Fear And Faith, Miss May I, and Dance Gavin Dance are all bad bands, right?

For some noobs, this band is from 1998, Singer left and became huge with dashboard confessional, and now rise is trying to bring some old stuff back such as Poison The Well, and The Early November.

The autotune/vocal effect isn't necessary, but damn, is this a great song! The sound is a bit different from The Moon Is Down, but I think it contains a sense of urgency, realness (despite autotune :P) and just feels right.

And you have your opinion, doesn't make it right. Rise is lucky to have Further.

Some of my favorite bands ever are on Rise. Rise Records is doing very well in the scene. You can hate on them all you want, but Rise Records isn't going to change because what they're doing is working in the heavy scene. Just because you have a negative opinion about something, doesn't make it right. I <3 Rise.

So much hate. This is the first album I've ever heard from these guys and I love it. Drummer's got skills, the sound is grungy and loose, it works for me.

The voice is way too low D:

Honestly, the vocals were poorly edited and whatever effects were added to the vocals were overdone. They recorded this themselves which is explains all these flaws. But I highly doubt that the entire track is autotuned.

/watch?v=VdHgmEignBw. same chords in the beginning. and they both have 'rescue' in their name. coincidence? i think not! :P

It's not the autotune that gets me, it's the mix... voice is way too low.
