Lol! I laugh every time i hear this beloved song.. of course i was born in East LA! & grew up w/ a very popular French Canadian father who loved to drink & make people laugh and who's accent didnt help & always got him in trouble lol! ; ) He sounded like a confused French Candian/Mexican when he drank & that didnt help lol! So it holds a very special place in my heart.. RIP papa! We love & miss you so much! XO!
