Well I had a problem with my Monster cable on my 1996 BTG custom 5 and called Ken Smith! He told me not to use those cables because of the larger end on the male jack. That was what damaged my female jack on the bass! Just sayin!

cantobass don't use those monster cables on your Ken Smith bass it will damage the Jack! Monster cable have a larger end and damage the Ken Smith Jack. Use a Magami better cable/ lifetime warranty also and it works fine with all basses! Plus the sound is better! Check it out!
