Funeral for a Friend were a band I grew up listening to in my high school years about 15 years ago. I've played guitar for about 10 years as well so believe me when I say they are masters of rhythm guitar and I can't really find anyone to top them in the UK now. I had all of their albums up to and including Hours but started to listen to other genres of music since them. I just had a whim to listen to my favourite bands of the past and I'm pleasantly surprised but Funeral for a Friend - never expected them to be solo type people and especially for the post hardcore genre. I always knew they had the talent to solo but never showed it. Dynatwenty is 100% correct, too much guitar for the genre but that doesn't make the song bad - it makes it bad ass.Great stuff - I'm missing my childhood and Oh God, I'm 27 this year...
