Honestly, I prefer this to some of the main material on From These Wounds. The first track I heard, which roped me into the band (who I think have a long career of greatness) was This Barren Skill, and I was expecting more of that kinda sound, you know, like this, Vagrant God and Pendulum- the real melodic and progressive stuff. Not to say the other stuff isn't good, I just don't find it as hard-hitting.

Just to note, this was a bonus track on the digi-pack version released in Europe, and was also on the American release of the album (which was through Candlelight records, normal jewel case). Being in the states, a local CD shop ordered the Candlelight version for me.

Probably the most unique metal vocalist that I've ever heard. His vocals fit so perfectly to the depressing music, it's a shame their guitarist committed suicide right after writing this album...
