Fun Boy Three - Our Lips Are Sealed (1983) (HD)

As this video was meant to be grainy & soft there didn't seem much point in sharpening it up but the original audio was very muffled and dull so I've redone the audio and converted it to widescreen... :-)

Listen to the 12" mix long version, it breaks into a mad tribal portion with rasta speaking and congas, then some insane laughter and saying "the kisses of an enemy is deadly, deadly, deadly"........ 1982, when all this new sound was coming out, man what a great time it was, also x-visitors-planet doesnt mind, ebn-ozn-aeiou sometimes y (strange tune for sure), yello-i love you, robert hazard-escalator of life........... so many more and titles I could share if you want.

One of David Foster Wallace's favorite songs. This version in particular.

I'm glad I was a teen back then when this came out. This is part of the soundtrack of my life. This version has more soul than The Go-Gos but I do love The Go-Gos original version too. The Go-Gos of course sounds very American and straight, this of course being very British has a lot of mood or something going on.

I liked the black guys' energy; I hated the white people's energy. I prefer the GoGos.
