Why is every comment about labeling them by genre or comparing them with a million bands? Who gives a shit just listen to it. They're talented hateful kids that have a unique sound, not experimental black new age power violence metallic hardcore.

It's like every punk/metal hybrid combined into one band, and holy fuck is it good.

Who knows. Metalcore, powerviolence, grindcore, crust, "skramz", noisecore, hardcore, they're all basically one amorphous entity right now.

So the new thing in hardcore is basically being a metal band?

love this style of hardcore. these guys and COK are killing it.

I feel like the vocals are much more comparable to something like Deafheaven. Not this song in particular. But there are plenty of moments where the comparison could be seen. Nails is another one. Especially Abandon All Life which has some really black metal-esque vocals.

I could kinda hear Pig Destroyer in there, but his vocals are a lot slower at times.

The vocalist is of the class of Nasum and Pig Destroyer. Gorgoroth and Immortal he is not. The bassist sounds like he's doing death metally lows.

The bassist's vocals are definitely more grindcore influenced. The vocalist's high screeches are incredibly black metal influenced.
