The fifth song on the album "End hits" (1997)

I don't own the song, nor do i own the copyrights.

Moves so slowly

Grows so smoothly

Takes so neatly

It's as if they belong and they've been here all along

Grows so smoothly

Moves so slowly

Takes completely

It's as if they belong and they've been here all along

This one's ours let's take another

Check the math here check in ten years

Clusterfuck theory buy them up and shut them down

Then repeat in every town

Every town will be the same

This one's ours let's take another

Five corporations there is a pattern

There's only 4 now because two of them merged, but it's about the big 5 record companies. Universal, BMG, EMI, Sony, Warner.

P.O.S, he's a rapper from Minnesota. One of his songs goes: "The oval office and the lobby probably listen to Fugazi singing 'this ones ours lets take another, this ones ours lets take another, this one's ours, (cough) lets take another. And then they dance away like Savion Glover.' And then in like the last two seconds of the song, he just copies the track into his own track.

I heard through a friend that George Soro's has bought many Gun company's. Obviously to dismatle them because of the disarmament procedures, and he being Obama's mantor/handler, meanwhile Obama is involved with the UN and the small arms treaty.

IAN: I think that song was inspired by the sense that the clustering of corporations, the clustering of powers, that continue to clump and absorb to the point where it seems that it always boils down to five universal groups. They're almost like nations. Just recently I read the entertainment industry is now down to five nations. < i stand corrected

This song is not *just* about the music industry; it's about corporate dogma, which does include music industry (major label) operations, but the music industry doesn't affect how every town looks, as per the line "every town will be the same." This song evokes cookie-cutter strip malls and network TV to me. It's more about the idea of corporations buying-out smaller businesses until there are only 5 corporations controlling everything. "Clusterfuck theory..."

yeah thats the capital records tower... this song is about the music industry. that's why ian started his own label and incorporated to protect their assets and never sell out to the man. using their game against them or something i guess. whatever works. have to survive and still live your dreams. not much of a choice in corporate america.
