Interesting story, Fuel is from the Harrisburg area in PA which is where I'm from. My father was the manager of a mediaplay when I was younger and he helped Fuel get gigs and somewhat managed a few of their performances. If you look at the acknowledgements on this album, you'll see my fathers name, Stewart Rhodes (though they spelled his last name wrong haha). I always use that as a good bar story haha

But in the chorus he makes a promise to himself that things WILL get better and if he can't find his way back to himself and the person he once was, the sun can strike him down and burn him where he stands. He's going to recover or die trying. Yeah awesome song....
